Our goal at Mona Vale Public School is to offer a wide range of learning opportunities.  We aim to build self confidence, independence and team work skills in every child.

Embracing diversity, we offer a range of programs for children with special and exceptional needs.  We are a district centre for Gifted and Talented Education and Special Education.

Our dedicated, well qualified teachers and support staff aim to bring out the best in your child through quality teaching in stimulating learning environments.  The use of interactive whiteboards provides technologically advanced learning through internet and intranet access for every class.  In the classroom, computer room or library, learning at Mona Vale Public School is a multimedia experience. 

Each child an individual 

At Mona Vale Public School, we aim to know and care for your child as a unique person.  We encourage cooperation and team work to held your child become happy and responsible individual who cares for others and contributes to the community.  Our student welfare and discipline programs are based upon the principles of justice and a fair go.  We use Restorative Practice methods to support anti-bullying and mediation strategies.

Spaces to learn and play 

Spacious, well shaded grounds, provide for active and passive play.  Basket ball, netball, handball and tennis courts along with three sets of age appropriate climbing equipment ensure that your child's fitness and recreational needs are well supported.  A mini soccer/football field supports coaching programs and our giant chess board and outdoor seating areas provide opportunities for quiet time and talking to friends. 

Parent and Community partnerships 

At Mona Vale Public School we actively seek parent participation and believe that children gain educational advantage from the involvement of parents. 

The Parents and Citizens Association and its committees provide a forum for parent input and decision making, fund-raising support for social events for the entire school community.  The Parents & Citizens Association also operates our Gold Accredited Healthy Canteen.
